His stories are designed to challenge the reader, stirring curiosity and introspection while maintaining a sense of positivity and humor. By weaving poignant messages into narratives, he aims to provide an immersive reading experience that leaves a lasting impression. His ultimate goal is to create a legacy that will be treasured by his grandchildren and future generations—a collection of tales that serve as a guiding light for their worldviews and character development.

Ron Turner

Ron Turner is a criminal defense attorney who has been living in Kitsap County for 15 years and who started Synchrony Press in Bremerton to publish books by Matt K. Turner, Ariel Tomioka and Michael Thompson.

Matt K. Turner is an accomplished screenwriter whose credits include episodes of Manifest, a hit sci-fi series on Netflix, and episodes of Nemesis, a crime-thriller series premiering on Netflix on May 14. His debut novel,
Genesis, is a near-future techno-thriller set in Seattle and climaxing on Bainbridge Island. Kirkus Reviews calls Genesis “a striking thrill-ride through a future both frightening and tantalizing.” Well-known Hansville mystery
series author D.D. Black says Genesis “pulls readers into a not-so-distant future where scientific ambition clashes with humanity’s darker instincts. This novel brims with corporate espionage and genetic engineering – Turner is a
talented new voice in science fiction.”

Ariel Tomioka writes social histories – to persuade jurors that persons convicted of capital murder in California should not be executed. She is very persuasive. She also is the author of the autobiographical novel On the
Breath of the Gods, taking the reader along with her on a spiritual journey through past lives and experiences on the astral plane.

Ariel is also the co-author with Michael Thompson of Warhorse, telling the remarkable story of Michael’s 45 years in prison in California for a murder he did not commit. In prison, Michael became a leader in the Aryan Brotherhood
prison gang, then turned against the A.B. It is a miracle he lived to tell his story.

Dianne Gardner

D.L. Gardner is an award-winning author, artist, filmmaker, and screenwriter with over 28 published works to her credit. Writing and painting are her passions and fantasy her forte. When she’s not pounding keys on the computer, she’s canning salsa, picking apples, listening to the voices of critters in the woods, or watching flowers grow. She loves visiting far-off lands through books by both reading and writing. Her genres include all fantasy, historical, and mystery.

Pat Stricklin

After teaching for twenty-five years and working eleven years as a Learning Specialist, Trish retired and turned to writing. After much research, she wrote the novelized story of her grandparents, he a Catholic priest and she his housekeeper. Their relationship and how they hid the truth from the Church, their families, and their three children was uncovered after her grandmother’s death.
